Refund Policy

Order Cancellation

If you wish to cancel your order for any reason it must be canceled prior to shipment.  Once your order has already been shipped you will need to follow the return policy outlined below.  To cancel an order please email us directly at Support@MalaofMerit.com  


Please include the following information in your email.

  1. Name on the Purchase
  2. Email or Phone number used on your order at checkout
  3. Order Number
  4. Reason for cancellation

Once your order has been confirmed and canceled you will be refunded via your original payment method in 1-5 business days, you will be notified by email once you have been refunded.

Returns & Exchanges

Mala jewelry that has been worn cannot be returned or exchanged. Items that have not been worn or de-tagged can be returned/exchanged within thirty (30) days of the delivery with the following conditions:

  • All merchandise must be unwashed, unworn, or unused 
  • All hangtags must be attached to the product
  • Outgoing and return/exchange shipping charges are not refunded. 
  • We will credit your original method of payment minus the shipping charges. Once your return arrives please allow up to 5 business days for the refund to be processed. You will be notified by email once completed.

All returns are responsible for scheduling their own shipping and all charges incurred including duty and taxes.  Contact us at Support@MalaofMerit.com to start your return.  Please provide the following information.

  2. Email or Phone number used on your order at checkout
  3. Order Number
  4. Reason for Return

 

*We will not accept returns that are sent COD. Items rejected at delivery will be charged the shipping fee.*

 

Broken Malas

If your mala breaks within 6 months of purchase, please email us at Support@MalaofMerit.com with the following information:

  1. Name on the Purchase
  2. Email or Phone number used on your order at checkout
  3. Order Number
  4. Photo of the broken mala
  5. Description of what happened (we want to ensure it doesn’t happen again)

 

If it was determined to be during normal use and not from abnormal abuse, we will offer to re-string or replace your mala with the same kind as the original if possible.  If the original is no longer offered, we will offer store credit for a replacement.  For a replacement, restringing, or store credit your broken mala must be mailed back to our warehouse.  Please contact us directly at Support@MalaofMerit.com to start a broken mala claim.  Once your mala has been received and verified your credit will be issued and you will be notified via email.

 

Faulty/Incorrect Items

Every product we send out is inspected to ensure it's of the highest quality. However, if you happen to receive a broken, damaged, or incorrect item please email us at Support@MalaofMerit.com  and we will happily replace it as long as it has been returned within 30 days of purchase. Please note that the natural variances in the gemstones are not considered a manufacturing fault and are completely normal.

If you have received a faulty item we will cover the cost of return shipping please contact us with the following information so we can issue you a return shipping label. 

  1. Name on the Purchase
  2. Email or Phone number used on your order at checkout
  3. Order Number
  4. Photo of the faulty item
  5. Description of what/why it is faulty. 

We will replace the item if it is in stock, or refund you upon return, your refund will be issued within 5 business days.

Undelivered Package

Each package is mailed directly from our warehouse utilizing the address you provide at checkout.  If you notice an error in your mailing address prior to shipment we may be able to update it, please contact us as soon as possible.   If you have entered an address that is incorrect and the package has been shipped you will need to contact the shipping service with your tracking number to fix the issues.  We do not offer refunds for incorrect shipping addresses and the amount of help we can provide after we have shipped the package is limited.  

If your package shows delivered and your mailing address is correct please utilize the tracking number that is emailed to you and contact the shipping service provider directly.  If they are not able to rectify the issue all packages are insured and a claim can be filed directly with the shipping provider.   If you do not know your tracking number first check your "spam or junk" folders.  If you can not find it please contact us directly at Support@malaofmerit.com and we will assist you getting your tracking number.
